Walsh Drivers in Sweden
June 2009 - "Born in the USA" played over the loudspeakers at the Solvalla, Sweden racetrack as driver Tim Tetrick & Columbian Necktie won an elimination of the Sweden Cup on Saturday May 30. Tetrick had previously driven a winner on the Friday card and drove Buck I St Pat in the prestigious Elitlopp race on Sunday. Surely it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the young driver, who was surprised in the winner's circle Friday by a contingent of friends from his home state of Illinois.
Walsh is proud to sponsor Tetrick and also Swedish driver Johan Untersteiner. Untersteiner, who will turn 25 in August, is already an accomplished European driver. A virtual unknown to Americans, he came to The Red Mile in Lexington, KY with Giant Diablo in 2007 and set a then World Record mile for trotters, 1:50.1.

Jamieson on road to success
May 2009 - Walsh sponsored driver Jody Jamieson graces the cover of the April 26 issue of the Canadian Sportsman, with the caption "Star or Superstar?". Jamieson, 32, is based in Ontario, Canada, racing mostly at Mohawk & Flamboro race tracks, with starts also at Clinton Raceway.
Tetrick heads to Sweden
May 2009 - New Jersey based, Walsh sponsored driver Tim Tetrick will be heading to Sweden to race in the prestigious Elitlopp in late May 2009. The race will be held on the five-eighths mile Solvalla Racetrack. This size track should suit both Tetrick and Buck I St Pat, a horse he drove last year to divisional honors, as they teamed up to win the Maxie Lee Memorial at Harrah's Chester Downs just south of Philly in world record time for that size track (1:52.2).
Walsh congratulates Tim and Buck I St Pat's connections (trainer Ronnie Burke and owners Howard Taylor, Edwin Gold, Abraham Basen and Ron Fuller) on being invited to the Elitlopp - Good Luck!
User Testimonial
"I don't know about you, but over the years I have tried many different halter brands. I have tried leather and nylon halters. Just about everything and every time I come back to a leather halter from Walsh. They look very nice and are so durable. I have one horse that is just so hard on halters. I have tried nylon break away halters with her and they only last a month. I tried the cheaper leather halters with her as well thinking since she is retired and is just turned out why spend a little extra for the Walsh leather halter. Again I think the inexpensive leather halter only lasted 3 months. So I went back to a Walsh leather halter with her and she has now been wearing it for a year and it still looks great and is in one piece. Well worth the money!"
